Today is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. For all those that I hold dear and love as my own, I give this to you.

I wrote this for Paladin Rune McKenzie who left this earth on June 19, 2004. My heart still aches for his parents – my love to you both.

I awoke today, determined to just let the day pass. Once again we are not in a financial situation to do much celebrating or gift giving, and I am totally fine with that. I have the love of my family and my friends, and a good cup of coffee in my hand, what more do I need :)

Well, true to form, I got an unexpected suprise. Hell, its not even 9am yet….but still…it was the most amazing way to start my day.

For those of you that actually read this and do not know, “Gorgeous” is my ex-fiance and one of my best and dearest friends, Mike. He wrote the post I have linked to here in his Live Journal for me as a gift. I have always cherished his way of being able to recall and recant times and places and events, because my memory is so bad at retaining them. Once again he has moved me to tears, and reminded me exactly why he is so close and important to me, to my family.

I love you gorgeous, thank you.

well my heart knows me better than i know myself

i came across a place in the middle of nowhere
with a big black horse and a cherry tree.

i fell in fear, upon my back

when the big black horse that looked this way,
said hey lady, will you marry me?

and my heart had a problem, in the early hours,
so it stopped it dead for a beat or two.
